When will my order be shipped?

The answer is... it depends!

If you Pre-Ordered Fresh Chile During the Off-Season:

Your order will ship as soon as we start picking the variety of chile you ordered. Typically this is in late July or early August but it can vary significantly based on the weather. We'll be sure to update you as the season draws near and we have a better idea of when we will start shipping. Once we are shipping fresh weekly, we typically ship orders only on Tuesdays. The cutoff for each week's shipment is Monday at 12 Noon MST. Orders placed Monday afternoon and later will not ship until the following week unless we over-harvest on Tuesday morning.

If you need your chile shipped a certain week, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, email us and request that well in advance of the shipping cutoff so that we can place your order on hold.

Pre-Orders for fresh red chile will not ship until very late in the season (typically the last week in September).

If you Ordered Roasted Chile:

We ship Monday through Friday each week from our many distribution centers. If you received free-shipping on your order, your box will be shipped ground. Ground services take longer to arrive, depending on where you are located in relation to our distribution centers. As such, we some orders can only be shipped out on Mondays and Tuesdays (or they won't arrive before  the weekend and will spoil). If you're in one of the parts of the country where this applies and order after the cutoff on the last day we can get your order out for a given week, your order will not ship till the following Monday. The cutoff is typically 12 Noon MST for same-day shipping if you are in a zone that we can deliver to before the weekend via ground. This is not a firm cutoff and we cannot guarantee that your order will make it out same-day but 99% of all orders for frozen placed by the cutoff do.

If you ordered Powder, Salsa, Ristras, or our Swag:

We ship two to three days a week (typically Mon-Wed) and provide tracking numbers via email when we print your shipping label. If you need your order to ship sooner, please email us at support@hatch-green-chile.com and we'll do our best to meet your needs.
